The brief
What the business needed
Three groups use one platform. Clients need to find the right practitioner and book a time; practitioners need to run their practice from their own panel; and the team needs to run the whole platform.
Sessions are online or in person, and practitioners and clients live in different time zones, so a booked hour has to mean the same hour to both of them.
How their customers use it
- 01 They search by modality, ailment, symptom or name, filter by in person or virtual, and choose a city.
- 02 They browse twelve categories, from somatic healing to holistic nutrition, and open a practitioner's profile.
- 03 On a profile they compare each offering's price and length, read reviews, see what the practitioner helps with and their certifications, and press Book now.
- 04 Practitioners apply to join from the site, then run their practice from their own panel.
What we built
The build, point by point
- Practitioner search with a free-text field, a type filter (in person, virtual or both) and a location list covering cities in Canada and the US.
- Practitioner profiles with offerings, prices, session lengths, ratings and reviews, specialities and certifications.
- Booking in each practitioner's own time zone, with calendar API sync.
- A practitioner panel to run a practice, and a "Join as a Practitioner" application.
- A super admin panel for the team to run the whole platform, and public pages for events, articles and the company.
