Website design for clinics, physios and therapists

A clinic website where a patient finds the right practitioner, books a time that suits both of you, and knows what the first visit costs before they arrive.

The short answer

Storvexa builds websites for physiotherapy, therapy, wellness and private clinics: a WordPress site from $799 in 15 days, or a custom-coded site from $1,999 in about 4 weeks. Each one has booking per practitioner and treatment, a page per condition you treat, practitioner profiles with registrations, prices and a first-visit guide. When clients book across time zones or pay up front, we build the booking system itself, as we did for The Hira Collective.

What the site has to do

What a clinic website has to do

People look for a clinic when something hurts or when they have put it off long enough. They want to know you treat their problem, who they will see, what it costs and when they can come in.

  1. 01

Booking by practitioner and by treatment

An initial assessment is not a follow-up, and not every practitioner offers every treatment. The booking step should ask for the right one, show real availability and send a confirmation, whether through your clinic software or a system we build.

  2. 02

Pages for the conditions you treat

Back pain, sports injuries, post-operative rehab, headaches, anxiety: one page each, written the way patients describe the problem, saying how you help and how many sessions it usually takes.

  3. 03

    Practitioner profiles people trust

A photo, a short bio, what each person specialises in, and their professional registration, so a patient can check it and choose who to see.

  1. 04

    Prices and the first visit

What an assessment and a follow-up cost, how long they last, what to wear or bring, and the health insurers you are registered with, if any. Fewer phone calls, fewer no-shows.

  2. 05

    Online sessions and time zones

If you offer video sessions, clients may book from another time zone. Times should show in their time and yours, with the video link in the confirmation email.

  3. 06

    Intake forms that respect privacy

Collect at booking only what you need to book. Health questions belong in a secure intake step with clear consent, not in a contact form that sits in an inbox.

What your site should show

Details clinic websites are expected to get right

Checked against the official pages. What applies depends on your profession and on whether your clinic is registered with the CQC.

  1. §1

    Protected titles: show the registration

Titles such as "physiotherapist" are protected by law: only people on the HCPC Register may use them. You'll want to show each practitioner's registration so a patient can check it on the register.

Official source HCPC · The professions we regulate
  2. §2

CQC rating, if your clinic has one

If your clinic is registered with the CQC in England and has been rated, regulation 20A says every website you run must show the rating legibly, with the date it was given, the CQC's web address and where to read the latest report.

Official source CQC · Regulation 20A
  3. §3

Health data is special category data

Under UK GDPR, data concerning health is special category data. Forms that ask about symptoms or history need a clear purpose, consent wording and secure handling, so we keep them out of ordinary email forms.

Official source ICO · What is special category data?

This is a builder's checklist, not legal or regulatory advice. Guidance changes, so check your regulator's current pages; we build the pages it asks for and make them easy for you to keep up to date.

What we build

From a clinic website to a full booking system

If you already use clinic software with online booking, the website's job is to send people to the right booking step. If you need booking we build ourselves, it is scoped as a web app.

  • WordPress Our default

A Basic Website: up to five pages on a premium WordPress theme, with your treatments, practitioners and prices, click-to-call, and booking buttons that open your clinic software's online booking.

  • Custom-coded in Astro, Next.js or React When speed and a unique design matter

A Business Website: up to eight custom-coded pages that load in about a second, with booking or enquiry forms, full on-page SEO and your Google Business Profile set up. For clinics that compete for local searches.

  • A web app When the site runs part of the business

A booking system of your own: practitioners with their own calendars and time zones, payment at booking, confirmation and reminder emails, and an admin panel to run it all. This is how we built The Hira Collective.

Real work, live today

Booking we have built, live today

The Hira Collective is a wellness platform, not a medical clinic, but it solves the hardest part of a clinic website: many practitioners, each with their own availability, booked and paid for online.

Questions clinics ask

Ask us anything else

Our Basic Website (WordPress) and Business Website (custom-coded) have fixed starting prices, shown on this page in your currency. A booking system of your own, with practitioner calendars and payments, is a web app billed by the hour or monthly, with a written scope first.

Usually, yes. Most clinic software offers an online booking page or widget, and we place it where patients expect it, on every treatment and practitioner page. We check what your software allows on the first call.

Yes. Each practitioner gets a profile with their own booking step. On The Hira Collective, which we built, every practitioner runs their own panel and clients book them directly.

Yes, in a booking system we build: times are shown in the client's time zone and kept in the practitioner's, and the confirmation email carries the calendar invite and the video link.

In a booking system we build, yes, through Stripe, including your cancellation rules. On a WordPress or custom-coded site, payment is handled by your clinic software's booking page if it supports it.

Not for a medical clinic. Our closest live work is The Hira Collective, a wellness booking platform with practitioner calendars, payments and time zones, and a professional office site built for booking requests from the phone.

Yes. The domain and hosting are in your name. After the final payment you have full admin access (WordPress) or the full source code on your own Git account (custom-coded and web apps).
