Cali Taxes & Notary: a website for a notary who comes to you
Cali Taxes & Notary is a mobile notary and tax office in Fresno, California. The notary travels to homes, hospitals, offices and care facilities across Fresno and the Central Valley; the office also prepares tax returns, keeps books, helps with immigration forms, files LLC and EIN paperwork and does mobile Live Scan fingerprinting.

The brief
What the business needed
There is no office to visit: the notary drives to the customer. So the website has to do the front desk's job on a phone screen — say what the office does and where it travels, make clear that the total is agreed on the call before anyone sets off, and keep a phone call one tap away.
Six services had to sit under one name without crowding each other out, and a wasted trip — an expired ID, a document signed too early — had to be headed off before the appointment, not at the door.
How their customers use it
- 01 They call with one tap: the number sits in the header of every page, and on a phone a bottom bar keeps a call button under the thumb.
- 02 They ask for a time from their phone with a short form — name, email, phone, where they are and roughly when — and get a copy of the request by email.
- 03 They find their city on the service area page (Clovis, Madera, Selma) with the drive time from the Fresno base.
- 04 They read what to have ready before the notary arrives: valid photo ID, the document complete but unsigned, every signer in the room and any witnesses.
What we built
The build, point by point
- A services page with its own section and link for each of the six services: tax returns, bookkeeping, immigration, mobile Live Scan, mobile notary, and LLC and EIN filing.
- A service area page and one page per city, each with the drive time from Fresno and an interactive map you can spin and zoom.
- A booking request form that emails the request to the office and a copy to the customer, with a hidden field that catches spam bots.
- A what-to-bring checklist and an FAQ, so customers arrive with the right ID and an unsigned document.
- Every page pre-rendered to static HTML, a day and a night theme, and LocalBusiness structured data that tells search engines the opening hours and the area served.
