Salon website design with online booking

A salon website where a client sees your work, finds the treatment and the price, and books the stylist they want, at two in the morning if that is when they think of it.

The short answer

Storvexa builds websites for hair, beauty and nail salons: a WordPress site from $799 in 15 days, or a custom-coded site from $1,999 in about 4 weeks. Each one has a price menu, a gallery of your real work, your team with what each person does best, and a booking button on every page. If you already use salon booking software, the site sends people straight into it. If you want booking of your own, we build it, as we did for The Hira Collective.

Every price is agreed in writing before work starts. Your domain and hosting are bought in your name, so they are yours from day one.

What the site has to do

What a salon website has to do

People choose a salon with their eyes first and their diary second. They want to see work they like, know what it costs, and book without phoning during your busiest hour.

  1. 01

    Booking on every page

A booking button in reach on every screen of a phone, opening your salon software's online booking or a booking system we build. A colour and a cut are different lengths, so the booking step asks for the treatment first.

  2. 02

A price menu people can read

Every treatment with its price or "from" price and how long it takes, grouped the way clients think: cuts, colour, nails, brows and lashes, treatments.

  3. 03

A gallery of your own work

Your real before-and-afters, sorted by service, sized to load fast on a phone. Stock photos of models tell a client nothing about you.

  1. 04

Your team, so clients can choose

A photo of each stylist or therapist, what they specialise in and their level if your prices differ by level, with a link to book them directly.

  2. 05

    Deposits and cancellation rules

If you take a deposit for long appointments, the rules are shown before booking and the payment is taken at booking, so no-shows cost you less.

  3. 06

    Found by people nearby

Your address, opening hours and a map, the same as on your Google Business Profile, plus a page per main service written the way people search for it.

What your site should show

Details salon websites are expected to get right

Checked against the official pages, for salons in the UK.

  1. §1

    Show the full price

The CMA's price transparency guidance covers what to include in the price you show, mandatory fees and charges included, and drip pricing: fees added as the customer goes through booking. If you charge a booking fee nobody can avoid, you'll want it in the price on the menu, not added at checkout.

  2. §2

    Allergy answers are health data

Under UK GDPR, data concerning health is special category data. Patch-test and allergy questions asked at booking need a clear purpose and secure handling, so we keep them out of ordinary email forms.

What we build

A salon website, with booking that fits

Most salons already use booking software. Then the website's job is to win the client and hand them to the right booking step. If you want booking you own, it is scoped as a web app.

  • WordPress Our default

A Basic Website: up to five pages on a premium WordPress theme, with your price menu, gallery, team, click-to-call and booking buttons that open your salon software's online booking.

  • Custom-coded in Astro, Next.js or React When speed and a unique design matter

A Business Website: up to eight custom-coded pages that load in about a second, with booking or enquiry forms, full on-page SEO and your Google Business Profile set up. For salons that compete for local searches.

  • A web app When the site runs part of the business

A booking system of your own: each stylist with their own calendar, treatments with their own lengths, a deposit taken by Stripe at booking, confirmation and reminder emails, and an admin panel. This is how we built The Hira Collective.

Booking we have built, live today

Questions salons ask

Ask us anything else

Our Basic Website (WordPress) and Business Website (custom-coded) have fixed starting prices, shown on this page in your currency. A booking system of your own, with stylist calendars and deposits, is a web app billed by the hour or monthly, with a written scope first.

Usually, yes. Most salon software offers an online booking page or widget, and we put it where clients expect it: on every page and next to every treatment. We check what your software allows on the first call.

Yes. Each stylist gets a profile with a link to book them. In a booking system we build, each person also has their own calendar, the way every practitioner on The Hira Collective does.

In a booking system we build, yes, through Stripe, with your cancellation rules shown before the client pays. With salon software, deposits work if your software supports them.

Not for a salon. Our closest live work is The Hira Collective, a wellness booking platform where clients book and pay for a practitioner online, each with their own calendar.

On WordPress, yes: you get full admin access once the final payment clears, and the price menu and gallery are set up so you can change them without breaking the layout.

Yes. The domain and hosting are in your name. After the final payment you have full admin access (WordPress) or the full source code on your own Git account (custom-coded and web apps).
